SummerStage Venue Rental Process

The SummerStage venue is available to profit and non-profit performance groups. Please fill out the form on the Use SummerStage page. Then follow the process below.

Process for reserving SummerStage

  1. Submit Reservation Form electronically through the form on the Use SummerStage page or print and submit the hard copy form to the SummerStage of Delafield.

  3. Marketing activities – The performance group is responsible for doing their own marketing activities.  If you want to list your performance on the SummerStage website, submit performance information to the SummerStage webmaster for posting on website.  The Summerstage brochure is available on the website in .pdf format for printing and distribution by the performance group.   4. Refreshments options – Theatre goers will be able to bring their own food and beverages into the park.  If the performance group wants refreshments sold during performances, contact the SummerStage Board contact to set up concessions.

Note: Non-arts groups (schools, churches, scout groups, etc.) should submit a waiver form directly to Lapham Peak to use the stage.

Performance Setup Process

Equipment transport - Heavy equipment may be transported to the stage in one of two ways:

  • Use the SummerStage transport cart to carry equipment from the Evergreen parking lot to the stage via the walking path/ski trial.
  • Vehicles may drive to the stage area via the gravel road across from park garage to the stage only if the ground is not too wet. You must get permission before using the back way.

Ticket Sales - Should be setup near the Evergreen parking lot close to the path to the stage.

Concession Sales - You would set up your own concession tent. Use the SummerStage concession stand requires approval of the committee.

During Performance Process

  • You will be provided access to the stage, the backstage room, and the sound/light booth if required.
  • You are responsible for providing your own sound and lighting. The "house" lighting may be used for events that don't require additional lighting requirements.
  • You are responsible for running the admissions, concessions, and crowd control.

After Performance Process

All areas of the SummerStage venue must be cleaned before leaving the area and all waste must be disposed of in the appropriate containers at thepark garage area.
